DESCRIPTION
Tsu Lange Yor is a new lifestyle and fragrance brand from artist Troye Sivan. In Yiddish, ‘tsu lange yor’ means ‘to long years’, a toast to good health. The name connects Troye’s family heritage with his vision for the brand: a celebration of person and place.
     Troye and Steele Mellet approached Christopher Doyle & Co. in 2022 to create the brand identity and visual system for this new brand. Launching in 2023, the products include candles, fragrances, and art objects. Throughout the process we worked as close collaborators to develop a visual system that can be reinvented and reinterpreted with time, allowing for long years of collaboration. The process was driven by physical textures, imbuing the work with a nostalgic and crafted finish, embracing the imperfections found through hand made processes.
     I was responsible for developing the brand identity in all its expressions, including packaging, digital design, and motion design, under the creative direction of Christopher Doyle and Troye Sivan.
     Here’s to long years.
